WELCOME PROSPECTIVE ONLINE STUDENTS
From the Director of Online Studies
Welcome, Prospective Online Students!
If you'd like to complete your B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology remotely, our program can help you accomplish that goal. We offer the same high-quality courses taught by our dedicated Georgia State Psychology Faculty members in an online pathway – this means you can earn a degree equivalent to our face-to-face offering on campus but with the added flexibility of working almost anytime and from anywhere.
To complete a Psychology B.A. or B.S. online, we offer a pathway for any students transferring to Georgia State University (or from one of Georgia State's Perimeter Campuses) who have already completed 60 or more credits or earned an Associate's-Level degree. For admission, we require that students have already taken and succeeded in an Introductory General Psychology course (3 credits) and two 2000-level equivalent Psychology courses. We do not currently offer a transition into the online program for current Georgia State students.
Completing your Psychology degree in our online pathway can be accomplished in just two years, provided you're entering the program with the required credits listed above. If you elect to take courses over the summer, this will shorten your journey. Faculty members in our department are proud to offer not only an efficient pathway to your success but also one that is highly engaging and supportive of your learning efforts.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about our program and course offerings.
