Ph.D. Northwestern University
Dr. Lynn Mahovsky earned her Ph.D. in Communication Disorders and Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University. She has had a great variety of teaching and administrative experience in service to children, adolescents, and adults with mild-moderate learning disorders. Her experience, over 30 years, includes positions in public and private schools and in private practice. She has also taught courses in Special Education and Language Development and Disorders at Johns Hopkins University, Goucher College, and Georgia State University. She is currently the Liaison at the Regents Center for Learning Disorders at Georgia State University where she coordinates documentation reviews and services for college students with disabilities. Lynn and her husband live in Sandy Springs and enjoy visiting the north Georgia mountains on weekends.
